Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Pillars
We organize our community work and impact efforts around four pillars:
EDIRA: Creating a Place for Everyone
Diversity makes us stronger. Inclusion makes us better. And reconciliation helps us build a future we can all be proud of.
We work to ensure every team member and every person we work with feels respected, valued, and supported.
Some of the ways we bring this to life:
- Regular learning opportunities like the Blanket Exercise to deepen understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, and perspectives.
- Hosting guest speakers from organizations such as The Youth Project, sparking important conversations about 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion.
- Reviewing our hiring and workplace practices to make sure equity and accessibility go beyond intention and are built into how we operate.
- Commitment to anti-racism through our DEI Statement, including ongoing actions and firm expectations.
Sustainability: Small Actions, Big Impact
Small, everyday choices can add up to real change. Here’s how we foster more sustainable living easier for our team and our operations:
- Discounted transit passes and locked bike storage to encourage active transportation—plus cycling workshops to make it fun and safe.
- Purchasing local coffee, office items, and supporting our neighbourhood farmers markets.
- Supporting the circular economy within our team through hosting clothing swaps and running a team marketplace channel to reduce waste and share resources.
- Piloting Aruna menstrual pads, supporting sustainability, menstrual equity, and a fellow local B Corp company.
Community Investment: Where We Focus
Our community investment strategy focuses on Food Security and Housing—two foundational needs that directly impact health, dignity, and opportunity.
Housing
Safe and stable housing is the foundation for health and wellbeing. We partner with organizations tackling homelessness and housing insecurity, helping them with donations, volunteer hours, and projects that open doors to safe, affordable homes. Some organizations we support:
Food Security
Everyone deserves access to nutritious, affordable food. We support food banks, community kitchens, and school nutrition programs—whether it’s by lending our time, donating funds, or offering strategic support to strengthen food systems. Some organizations we support:
Workplace Health & Safety: Wellbeing First
We think about safety in broad terms—it’s not just about preventing accidents, but about helping our team stay healthy and resilient.
