Your Privacy. Our Priority.

At Davis Pier, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through compliance with this policy. The following covers our collection and use of any personal information that you provide when interacting with our website. We understand the importance of privacy and strive to be transparent in our data collection, use and retention practices.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Information

Our website uses Google Analytics to monitor general visitor information, such as IP addresses, visit dates, and pages viewed. We collect this data via cookies and web beacons to manage our site effectively, troubleshoot technical issues, and continually improve our content.

Monitoring Website Usage

We use Google Analytics to collect information like your computer’s IP address, the time you viewed a page, and the browser you used. We receive this information in an aggregated form and use it to monitor traffic to our website and how it is viewed. We may also use Cookies to track your use of our site. You can turn off Cookies in your browser settings if you prefer not to be tracked by them.

Personal Information

We will collect and retain personal information from you in a couple of ways:

Through our Contact Us form we will collect your email address, your organization’s name (optional) and any comment or questions you provide. This information will be collected and retained in Shared Mailbox. We will use this information to respond to you, will retain it for as long as is necessary to address your inquiry/concern and in compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We will delete the information once we no longer need it.

When you subscribe to our email updates, you will provide your name and email address to a third-party email marketing service called Mailchimp. We will use this information to send you our whitepapers when they are released. Your information is securely stored with Mailchimp, will be retained for as long as is necessary in compliance with PIPEDA and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and will be deleted once we no longer need it or if you request it.

Confidentiality of Information: We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any information you provide, such as your name and email address, will not be shared outside the organization for any other purposes.

Communicating With You

We use Mailchimp to manage our marketing emails and distribution of content, such as white paper insights. When you subscribe to our insights, Mailchimp processes and stores your name and email address. Mailchimp is a trusted email marketing platform that ensures your data is handled securely and complies with CASL.

You can opt out of receiving our email communications at any time. Simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any insights email, and Mailchimp will comply with your request, ensuring that your privacy preferences are respected.

Your Right to Accessing your Personal Information

According to PIPEDA, you have the right to access any of the information we have collected about you, request corrections to it, or have it deleted. If you wish to do so, please contact us as outlined below.
