Madeline (she/her) is an Associate at Davis Pier, bringing a background in occupational therapy and a wealth of experience in healthcare service design, policy consultation, and community engagement. Madeline has worked across a variety of sectors, including clinical private practice, healthcare, and the not-for-profit industry. Her career has centered on investing in individuals and communities marginalized by systems of oppression, using client-directed, collaborative approaches, service design, and systems-level advocacy. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Madeline has contributed to health research as a research assistant with Nova Scotia Health, supporting studies focused on improving quality of life and community participation for individuals who use wheelchairs, as well as the caregivers who support them. This experience strengthened her commitment to evidence-informed approaches that improve health and social outcomes.

Madeline holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She remains a Registered Occupational Therapist in the Province of Nova Scotia. 

Outside of her professional work, Madeline enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach with her dog, and reading.
