Kimberly Girling is an Associate at Davis Pier with a decade of experience working across the federal public service, non-profit, and academic sectors. She has applied her expertise to diverse public policy issues, including public health, science and research, emerging technologies, and national defence, most recently supporting the Chief Public Health Officer at the Public Health Agency of Canada. At Davis Pier, Kimberly is currently working on projects within healthcare and post-secondary education. She is passionate about evidence-based policymaking and bridging the divide between science, policy, and the public.
Kimberly holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Canadian Science Policy Fellowship program in the federal government in Ottawa.
Outside of work, Kimberly is happiest outdoors and can often be found backpacking, paddling, camping, cross-country skiing, and cycling. She is also an avid reader and music lover.
