James (he/him) is an Associate at Davis Pier. He has worked predominantly on health and social services projects for provincial and municipal governments, focusing on policy analysis, program development, community engagement, economic analysis and strategic planning. His experience applying quantitative and qualitative research techniques allows James to analyze problems and develop thoughtful solutions. James is passionate about developing and implementing evidence-based initiatives with communities to positively impact people’s lives. Recently, he has worked on several environment and economic development projects, which is of particular interest to him. 

James holds a Master of Public Policy with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Toronto. Previously, James completed a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours in Business Administration and a Sustainability Certificate from Western University. To further strengthen his problem-solving skillset, James completed a course in urban data analytics with the University of Toronto’s School of Cities, where he developed skills in spatial data visualization to inform decision-making. He also recently completed a certification in Fundamentals of Behavioural Insights through the University of British Columbia. 

Outside of work, James loves to play basketball and tennis, go on bike rides through Toronto’s ravines, and play board games with friends.
