Colin (he/him) is an Associate at Davis Pier with a background in economic development, digital health, climate policy, and municipal, provincial, and federal politics. He brings a breadth of experience from across the public sector, with a career including roles in federal politics, Health Canada’s COVID-19 Task Force, and Environment Canada’s Climate Change Branch.
At Davis Pier, Colin has supported projects across the health, housing, community services, digital innovation, and disability supports sectors and enjoys working in the higher education and economic development spheres. A key strength of Colin’s is his ability to connect people and their ideas, helping them shape and share their stories across complex environments.
Colin holds a Master of Philosophy in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Politics from Acadia University, where he received the Golden A Award and the University Medal in Politics. He is also an alumnus of the Government of Canada’s highly selective Recruitment of Policy Leaders Program.
Outside of work, Colin is an accomplished TEDx speaker, amateur historian, and author, with a passion for cooking and storytelling. You can catch him exploring the depths of rural Nova Scotia or searching for the best bite across the province.
