Chrystal (she/her) is an Associate at Davis Pier and has supported projects in such sectors as justice, privacy, public safety, road safety, disability, healthcare, mental health, and social services. Drawing on her experience as a lawyer to frame problems in terms of root causes, she works with clients to develop a clear path to achieve holistic, practical solutions. Always eager for challenging work that has positive community impacts, Chrystal specializes in community safety and well-being planning, privacy impact assessments, regulatory compliance and reform, and legislative review. She also supports projects focused on strategic system design, process improvement, policy development, and community engagement.
Chrystal has a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and is currently a candidate for the Canadian Information Privacy Professional / Canada certification. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid.
Outside of work, Chrystal appreciates spending time with family, doting on pets, enjoying the arts, and learning Norwegian (Jeg lærer norsk). She is often found chauffeuring her son to his many activities and cheering him on.
