Chrystal (she/her) is an Associate at Davis Pier and has supported projects in numerous sectors, including disability, public safety, road safety, mental health, justice, and social services. Drawing on her experience as a lawyer to frame client problems in terms of root causes, she works with clients to develop a clear path to achieve holistic, practical solutions. Always eager to undertake challenging work that will have positive community impacts, Chrystal specializes in policy development, legislative review, regulatory compliance and reform, strategic system design, process improvement, and community engagement.
Chrystal has a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy with an Emphasis in Canadian Studies. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid.
Outside of work, Chrystal appreciates spending time with family, doting on pets, enjoying the arts, and exploring new places. She is often found chauffeuring her son to his many activities and cheering him on. Chrystal is also proud to be involved with the important work of the Metro Community Housing Association, which offers supportive homes and community for people living with mental wellness challenges.
