James (he/ him) is an Analyst at Davis Pier and brings prior experience in behavioural science and economics, focusing on research design, quantitative analysis and behavioural insights. He looks forward to combining his quantitative and economic background alongside qualitative research at Davis Pier to better understand how to approach problems in a refreshing manner.

James holds a Masters in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors in Economics and Econometrics from Royal Holloway, University of London. He has earned multiple awards participating in behavioural science competitions where he learnt the value of interdisciplinary research and project work. His thesis research was a quantitative analysis of the impact of personal savings on one’s subjective financial wellbeing and brings experience in data-driven, evidence-based solutions.

Outside of work, James enjoys playing tennis and golf, cooking, curating the perfect musical playlist and holds an interest in mixology. He loves thrifting for new cocktail glassware and is an avid Formula 1 fan.
