Yan Lu (she/her) is an Associate at Davis Pier with a multidisciplinary background in law, community development, and life science. Her prior work spans the public, private, non-profit, and academic sectors. Yan draws on her experience as a trial lawyer to analyze complex issues and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. She thrives in navigating the nuanced intersection of empirical analysis and relational engagement to catalyze creative social transformation.
Yan holds a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University where she now teaches as Part-Time Faculty. She previously graduated with Distinction from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. Yan is fluently bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of work, Yan enjoys travel, running, creating art, and moments spent with her partner and the sweetest cat in the world.
