Payton (he/him) is an Analyst at Davis Pier and has supported a range of social and health policy projects across the public and not-for-profit sectors. His work has focused on policy research and analysis, jurisdictional and market scans, and supporting program development. Payton is particularly passionate about projects in housing, community development, and social equity.
Payton holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Community Design (Honours) from Dalhousie University. His research on urban density in mid-sized cities has been published in Planning Practice & Research, and his work on public sector employment motivation has appeared in The Conversation.
Outside of work, Payton enjoys travelling, playing and watching sports, and serves as the coach of the Dalhousie Tennis Team.
