Marlee (she/her) is a Research Associate at Pier Labs and has worked in academia and with non-profit and public sector organizations with a focus on social science research and evaluation. She brings experience in evaluation framework development, data collection through qualitative and participatory research methods, thematic analysis, and workshop development and facilitation. Marlee is passionate about public safety, mental health, and housing and strives to work collaboratively with partners and community to create and promote evidence-based solutions.
Marlee holds a Master and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology from Saint Mary’s University and she is currently working towards an MPA degree at Dalhousie. She has contributed to publications related to supported housing, forensic mental health, and public safety.
Outside of work, Marlee spends time with her family and dogs enjoying the outdoors and loves to cook, read, and listen to podcasts.
