Lauren (she/her) is a Senior Associate at Davis Pier and has a background in health services research, implementation science, and quality improvement. With research experience in continuing care and integrated care systems, Lauren is passionate about applying evidence-based solutions to complex health problems and planning for the sustainability and scale-up of successful initiatives.
Lauren holds a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Toronto, a Master of Family Studies and Gerontology from Mount Saint Vincent University, and Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Waterloo. Lauren has held national and provincial funding awards, including a SSHRC Doctoral Award and Ontario Graduate Scholarship. Throughout her graduate studies, Lauren was a trainee in a pan-Canadian research program called Translating Research in Elder Care.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time in the garden, trying new wines, and doing paint by numbers.
