Ilse (she/her) is a Principal at Davis Pier with more than a decade of experience working on complex social policy and service delivery challenges. Her areas of focus include housing, community wellbeing, and workforce and economic development. A project manager, mixed-methods researcher, and skilled facilitator, Ilse helps organizations navigate complexity by combining evidence, lived experience, and practical implementation considerations. She is known for fostering meaningful dialogue, building strong relationships, and helping groups work through complex issues to find practical paths forward.
Ilse holds a Bachelor of Science in International Development Studies and a Master of Science in International Development Studies (Development Economics) from Wageningen University, as well as a Master of Science in Contemporary Asian Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Her approach is informed by additional training in service design, implementation science, and behavioural insights.
Outside of work, Ilse enjoys practising and teaching yoga.
