Ryan (he/him) is an Associate at Davis Pier, where he works on projects related to economic development, climate policy, and public sector strategy. He brings over 15 years of experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors with a career spanning roles as a Senior Economic Advisor for the Province of BC, and senior positions with the Government of Yukon and the Northwest Territories, the City of Vancouver, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Ryan specializes in economic analysis, policy evaluation, and helping governments design evidence-based solutions to complex challenges.

Ryan holds a Master of Resource Management & Environmental Studies from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Master of Applied Anthropology and a Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida. He has received numerous awards, including the Deputy Ministers Award for his contributions to climate policy with the Government of Yukon. Originally from the United States, Ryan has called Canada home since moving to BC in 2011 for school.

Outside of work, he enjoys reading the news, running, sailing, exploring libraries, and finding great coffee. He volunteers his time at races and community events.
